Merralls is a family-run business specialising in ballroom and latin dancing, run by former dance champions. We are one of the top schools in the country and cater for all grades, from beginners to advanced and from social to competitors.
We are the Centre’s principals, Alan and Joan Merrall, and we have now been running this business for more than forty years, assisted by our daughter Debbie and a small team of fully qualified teachers.
We have social and fitness classes and also the facility to take medal exams, dance in teams and compete. There is something for everyone at Merrall’s Dance Centre, so please get in touch and join us!

All classes are supervised by at least one member of the Merrall family. Alan and Joan are former British Senior, American Imperial Star and Premier Professional Champions, daughter Debbie is a Ballroom Dance Champion, and Sarah Hayes and Ashlea Evans are fully trained professionals. Between them they are qualified in Ballroom, Latin, Rock & Roll, Line Dancing and Disco, and also trained in Mambo, Salsa, Merengue and Argentine Tango.
